Last week, the eighth annual Transform Europe Awards took place in London. The event brought together teams from agencies and companies alike to celebrate Europe’s best in branding.

The evening was a buzzing success, thanks not only to the comic genius of the host, stand-up comedian, Russell Kane, but also due to the vast amount of talent that was being celebrated.
The cherry on the top of the cake being that we were awarded Gold in the best wayfinding or signage category for our work with FutureBrand for Merck.
The Awards provide recognition for rebrand and brand development projects across Europe. The evening highlighted the hard work and sheer talent that goes into creating truly outstanding brands, whether global or local.
We are thrilled and deeply honoured to have received this award, and would also like to congratulate FutureBrand, Merck and all the individuals who played a part in bringing this project to life.
The story behind the award
In 2015, Merck boldly announced to the world that they were to challenge the perception that science was dull and clinical by launching their striking new identity. Emerging from a sea of sameness as a vibrant science and technology company, the next step for Merck was to roll out a new global signage concept.
Based on FutureBrand’s creative concept, we have worked side by side with Merck, providing applied design, value engineering, and implementation support, and together we have developed and are rolling out signage that incorporates unique design, tailor-made technological solutions and cutting edge engineering. Once roll out is complete, we will have deployed over 1,200 individual signage elements across 200+ facilities in more than 40 countries.
