With his past experience as a management consultant and communications manager, René knows how to bring brands and their organisations to the next level.
René started his career as a communications manager for the largest media agency in The Netherlands, where he led the set-up of the communications department and initiated and guided the rebrand project.
After achieving his master’s degree in business administration, he worked as a management consultant, specialising in organisational development and change management. Alongside this, he was responsible for all brand, marketing and communication activities.
As a senior consultant at VIM Group, René focuses on brand management, helping companies to define and execute an integrated approach to bring their brands to the next level. Specifically, he supports clients in defining a brand positioning and architecture, developing a business relevant brand style, and successfully implementing the brand throughout the organisation.
René’s conceptual and organisational skills enable him to offer an integral view on how to manage brands. He is dedicated to providing visible results in a logical, consistent, and pragmatic way.
Clients include ABN AMRO, AkzoNobel, AMC-VUmc, ASML, Dynniq, ERIKS, HEINEKEN, Nutreco, PostNL, Randstad, Royal FloraHolland, Schiphol Group and Wolters Kluwer.
In his spare time René loves cooking and going out for dinner with his family and friends. He also enjoys camping and watching Formula 1 racing.
