Dubai Holding is a global investment group with operations in more than 13 countries, active in sectors including real estate, hospitality, and digital innovation. As part of its ongoing role in supporting the UAE’s economic development, the company identified a need to better manage its growing library of brand and marketing assets. To improve operational efficiency and ensure consistency across its brand portfolio, Dubai Holding implemented a digital asset management solution tailored to its organisational requirements.

The client's challenge

Dubai Holding faced challenges in managing its extensive library of digital brand assets. The absence of a clear taxonomy, inconsistent user access controls, and a lack of centralised processes made it difficult for teams to efficiently locate, use, and share materials. These issues led to delays and inconsistencies in brand expression across channels. To address this, Dubai Holding sought specialised support to implement a scalable digital asset management solution aimed at improving asset structure, accessibility, and governance across the organisation.

Our solution

VIM Group supported Dubai Holding in the successful implementation of the Bynder brand portal, tailoring the solution to suit the organisation’s unique structure and needs. The process began with a series of workshops aimed at defining the taxonomy, asset derivatives, and user permission levels. A user interface theme was then designed to align seamlessly with Dubai Holding’s corporate identity.

Comprehensive training sessions were organised for administrators, regular users, and light users to ensure that all stakeholder groups could adopt the new system with confidence. The team also managed the migration of over 3,500 brand assets, restructuring metadata to improve asset organisation and searchability. Before the platform went live, acceptance testing was conducted to verify that all functional requirements were met. This structured and collaborative approach provided Dubai Holding with a scalable, user-friendly platform for brand management.

The results

The implementation of the Bynder brand portal has significantly improved Dubai Holding’s digital asset management and brand governance. Asset search time has been reduced by 85 percent, enabling quicker access to materials and improving overall efficiency. More than 3,500 brand assets were successfully migrated and categorised, providing a well-structured and user-friendly library. Additionally, over 100 employees were trained to ensure confident and consistent use of the platform.

As a result, brand consistency has been strengthened across all platforms, while improved accessibility and streamlined workflows have enhanced collaboration between internal teams and external partners. Dubai Holding now benefits from a centralised, scalable system that supports efficient, on-brand communication at every touchpoint.
