VIM Group Ushers in a New Era with Co-CEO Appointment, New Management Team

VIM Group turns over a new leaf with the appointment of René Kroeze and Laurens Hoekstra as co-CEOs.

René and Laurens are poised to lead VIM into its next phase of growth and innovation. The appointment of René and Laurens as Co-CEOs comes after the decision from Marc Cloosterman to step down from this role. Marc Cloosterman will stay close to VIM Group and Team Farner as Senior Advisor and shareholder.

Maarten Evertzen, VIM Group’s Head of Digital & Technology, has been appointed Managing Partner. His innovative approach to leveraging technology in brand management and marketing execution will continue to play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives for clients worldwide.

A new roster of leaders for VIM Management Team

Next to the existing management team Laurens, René and Maarten, VIM has strengthened it with key appointments in its regional offices. Joanna Jenkins, a brand expert with over 25 years of experience, has been appointed Managing Director of the London office. Her proven track record in branding will drive VIM’s continued expansion in the international market.

In Munich, Jean-Marc König joins as Managing Director, spearheading VIM’s business growth and client relations in the region. König’s extensive experience in brand technology and client-centric approach will further enhance VIM’s position as a trusted partner for brands seeking comprehensive brand implementation solutions.

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of Joanna and Jean-Marc to our management team. Their combined leadership, expertise, and dedication to excellence will undoubtedly bolster VIM’s bigger ambitions,” Laurens and René said in a statement on behalf of the company.

Marc Cloosterman & John Bache move on

In a statement, Marc Cloosterman said:

“The time has come for me to move on. It has been the most fantastic time. Together with colleagues one could only dream of, we have created a stellar niche for our business, with an unprecedented team spirit – remarked upon every time a new colleague joins us. I’ll remain the biggest fan of VIM Group and Team Farner – it’s a unique construct for clients. I look forward to being a Senior Advisor to the business as of September and to remaining invested”.

John Bache, the long-time Managing Partner for VIM’s German operations, is also departing the company after six long years of dedicated leadership to return to his home country of New Zealand.
