Are you studying Communications, Marketing, or Commercial Economics, excited about branding, and looking for an internationally oriented internship? Within the Marketing & Communications department of VIM Group, we are looking for an enthusiastic intern to help us achieve our growth ambitions!
The Marketing & Communications department is internationally responsible for increasing VIM Group’s brand awareness and developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive growth. Together with the Business Development department (the Growth Team), we work on strengthening existing relationships and exploring new markets.
We do this with a Growth Hacking mindset: experimenting quickly, measuring results, and continuously improving. The department is currently evolving rapidly, with new initiatives in AI, content marketing, social media advertising, marketing automation, and online lead and demand generation.
As an intern, you will become a full member of the Growth Team and receive your own tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
During your internship, you will be involved in various activities and projects within the Marketing & Communications team, such as:
Content strategy and production (blogs/cases)
Translations (ENG-NL and vice versa)
Communicating the VIM Group brand consistently and “on brand” across all channels
Email marketing (newsletters/email campaigns)
Customer and market research
Organizing events
Social media (advertising)
Internal communications
Website management (in Framer)
Contributing to the setup of a new marketing automation system (HubSpot)
Coordinating with colleagues from our international offices
In addition, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas on strategic marketing communication challenges. You will work closely with the Group Marketing & Communications Manager while also having the freedom to independently carry out tasks and projects.
The variety of activities will give you a broad understanding of the Marketing & Communications field and prepare you for a future career in this area. There is also room, in consultation, to conduct your own research project.
Skills & Experience
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills
Education
HBO/University level
(Commercial) Economics / Communications / Marketing or related field
Internship and/or graduation project possible upon agreement

* Internship compensation ranges from €250 to €300 per month, depending on education and experience.
