Vebego is a Netherlands-based international family-owned company founded in 1943. The Vebego companies ensure a clean, safe and pleasant working, learning and living environment. Their nearly 40,000 employees make a positive contribution to society every single day by providing facility services, healthcare services, facility management and landscaping services to clients in their core markets Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
The challenge
In 2020, Vebego embarked on a transformative journey, consolidating over 100 companies into 11 unified entities. This significant restructuring aimed to future-proof the organization and, in Q4 2021, called for a strategic partner to lead a rebranding initiative. The goal was twofold: to establish cohesive brand objectives and strengthen the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, all while addressing the unique dynamics of each subsidiary. This change required a strong, unified brand strategy and a clear brand identity. At the same time, it was essential for each subsidiary to retain the flexibility to adapt to the distinct markets, nature, and dynamics of their respective industries.
Our solution
To ignite their vision of a cohesive organization, the 11 large companies adopted new names and brand identities by September 2022. VIM Group conducted a comprehensive impact analysis, steered the design management process, and collaborated with the design agency Zandbeek to pave the way. The detailed insights enabled strategic decision-making, engaged key stakeholders, and facilitated simultaneous launches, bridging cultural and organizational gaps.

The result
Vebego Group emerged in September 2022, unveiling a fresh identity that resonated with employees. Excitement rippled through Vebego Facility Solutions, Vebego Groen, and the upcoming Vebego Cleaning Services.
The collaboration of design and implementation experts produced interactive brand guidelines, fostering trust and creativity. A streamlined rollout process now charts the roadmap for the Belgian and Swiss companies to seamlessly embrace the new Vebego brand identity in 2024.
