The Crux of the Story is een gevestigde en veelbeluisterde podcast voor senior brand- en communicatieprofessionals. De podcast is opgezet door Gary Sheffer en Mike Fernandez en bundelt ruim tachtig jaar merkervaring. Gary is hoogleraar Public Relations aan Boston University en voormalig voorzitter van de Arthur W. Page Society, de belangrijkste organisatie voor senior communicatieprofessionals van Fortune 200-bedrijven, bureaudirecteuren en toonaangevende wetenschappers. Mike adviseert al meer dan twintig jaar CEO’s en besturen van de grootste Amerikaanse bedrijven. Hij gaf leiding aan twee grote PR-bureaus in de Verenigde Staten en is eveneens hoogleraar aan Boston University.
