Cor has spent his entire professional working life in the signage, wayfinding and interior business. He is our senior expert across these areas.
After spending close to 15 years with various European signage manufacturers, Cor came to VIM Group with a wealth of knowledge in the translation of signage elements from concept to production, in addition to retail interiors. Another 20 years on, and Cor is our Senior Technical Consultant and is often involved in signage conversations across almost all of our projects.
His strength lies in conceptual thinking for retail interiors, wayfinding and exterior signage, bringing a concept to life. Through value-engineering, the costs of a signage family can be significantly reduced. For example, the total investment for the SKODA signage family for its dealerships around the world was reduced by at least 30% through Cor’s efforts; assessing technical specifications, producing drawings and performing prototyping sessions.
The many clients he has worked for also include Merck, Magrabi, Toyota, Deloitte, Grolsch, ABN AMRO, Unilever, Heineken, TNT, KLM, KPN, Mediclinic, SkyTeam, Shell and Rabobank, amongst others.
Cor is a motorcycle enthusiast and loves nature where he often mountain bikes or hikes. He is also kept extremely busy by being a grandad, and also looking after four bee populations in the beehives he keeps.
